Apostille Service in Italy

Italy is a member of the HCCH 1961 Apostille Convention, and thanks to this Convention, facilitates the use of Italian public documents abroad. Any official Italian document no longer requires the long and costly consular legalization process. A single Apostille issued by the Italian competent authority has taken its place as a form of legal authentication of the document destined for another member state.

Apostille on Italian Documents

Apostille on Sworn Translation

Italian documents and certificates are often required to be translated into the language of the destination country. In some countries, such translations should be done by a certified translator who should then swears an oath to attest that the translation is faithfully equivalent to the original text. The sworn translation in the language of the destination country will need to be further legalized (apostille) to be valid abroad.

The country of destination not a member of the Apostille Convention?
